NFPA SWIFT WATER RESCUE TRAINING AND WATER SAFETY TRAINING

NFPA 1006: Swift Water Rescue Awareness

The Swift Water Rescue Awareness course is based on the NFPA 1006 Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications and is designed for rescue service personnel who respond to and support water rescue operations.   


This online program introduces water rescue subjects that include hydrology, site assessment and hazard recognition, Personal Protective Equipment, and industry-mandated safety measures. This course is the pre-requisite for our swift water rescue operations program.  A certificate is issued on successful completion.


You will have 2 weeks to complete the online program once it is activated and you may access it multiple occasions during that period.

NFPA SWIFT WATER RESCUE TRAINING AND WATER SAFETY TRAINING

Working around Water Safety - Online

This course is recommended for Parks Enforcement Officers, Environment Officers, Hydrometric Scientists and Conservation Authority Staff.  

  

This online program introduces subjects that include hydrology, site assessment and hazard recognition, Personal Protective Equipment, and industry-mandated safety measures that include a task safety analysis and safety plan. A certificate is issued on successful completion.


You will have 2 weeks to complete the online program once it is activated and you may access it multiple occasions during that period.
