Participant cancellations or requests to reschedule for another offering will be accepted with a written notification received, via e-mail at training@accessrescuecanada.org a minimum fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the course start date. There is a $20 processing fee for all refunds.
Registrants who do not attend or do not complete the course (“no-shows") or who cancel or reschedule after the cancellation date will be invoiced for the full course fee
Our organization is pleased to accept substitutions for its regular courses/events provided the individual meets established requirements for the offering and that sufficient time is available for completion of any pre-course work. In the event of discrepancies, the Registrar will be responsible for determining whether requirements are met.
Access Rescue will adhere strictly to this Cancellation and "No Show" Policy in the administration of its offerings. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., serious illness), the Registrar may offer the participant an opportunity to attend a future course offering.
If a registered program receives an insufficient number of registrations, ARC may cancel the course, program or workshop. In this case, the maximum liability of ARC is limited to a refund of the course registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses whatsoever.
In the unlikely event of postponement of a course due to circumstances beyond ARC's reasonable control including but not limited to, severe inclement weather, ARC cannot be held responsible for any expense which may be incurred by registrants as a consequence of the event being postponed. However, the event will be re-scheduled with no additional fee payable to ARC, Inc. by the participant or sponsoring Agency.
Please note: Our courses are NFPA compliant programs and do not supply an IFSAC accreditation for public registration courses. Fire Services, within Ontario, that are trained through Access Rescue are eligible for IFSAC accreditation through the OFM.
