The Hazardous Materials Awareness course is designed for first-response personnel who respond to and support haz mat operations.  


This course is based on the NFPA 472 Standard for Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials Incidents. This modular program presents: Roles and Responsibilities of Emergency Responders; Safety; Recognition and Identification of Hazardous Materials; and Response and Incident Management. A certificate is issued on successful completion.
